About INNOVALingua-EIA
The Innovation Group in Language, Employability, and Artificial Intelligence (INNOVALingua-EIA; GCID25-3799451) brings together three academics with a strong track record in educational innovation. Together, we form an interdisciplinary and complementary team dedicated to rethinking how languages are taught and learned in today’s world.
Our mission is to design innovative methodologies and apply cutting-edge technologies to foreign language teaching—especially English—while helping students in English Studies and Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation build stronger career prospects.
What we focus on
- Artificial Intelligence & Virtual Reality in language learning
Harnessing AI and Virtual Reality to create personalized, immersive, and adaptive learning experiences. This includes the use of virtual 3D exchanges, VR/AI-supported environments, and telecollaboration platforms that connect learners across cultures, making language learning more engaging, interactive, and globally connected.
- Cognitive Linguistics for innovation
Applying insights from cognitive linguistics to design methodologies that strengthen language acquisition and communication skills.
- Employability & Professional Growth
Developing strategies, resources, and pathways that prepare graduates to enter the job market with confidence by exploring emerging and innovative career opportunities.
